Network Marketing : Make Money At Home : Think these things will make you rich? No! You get rich by educating yourself. You don't get rich from things. I learned that the hard way over many years of trial and error. Then I read it in a Robert Kiyosaki book one day and I thought to myself: Wow! If I'd only have read that book right out of high school. My path to riches would have been much shorter. We recommend these books to everyone who wants to understand what the rich do, that the poor and middle class don't.

Be aware, there are horror stories in the network marketing industry. If you can avoid them, you can truly have your wildest dreams come true, and even more than you could imagine, but first, you MUST avoid the pitfalls, and for that, you need knowledge, mentorship and a whole lot of persistence!

Network marketing has two sad tales of disaster. One has to do with inexperienced people being took advantage of, and as bad as that is, the sadder cases are those that have to do with the countless numbers of people who have had their hopes and dreams stolen by the "Dream Thieves".

Let's start with them. A "Dream Thief" is someone who discourages someone else from pursuing some worthwhile goal without knowing what they are talking about. Every one of us has experienced someone telling us how we can't do such-and-such and all the while the "Dream Thief" doesn't have a clue as to what they're talking about. Their only basis is that THEY couldn't do such-and-such and so they assume that we can't either.

If we're not careful, it's easy to let this know-it-all who knows nothing, stop us cold in our tracks from pursuing a worthwhile goal. And the most often heard bunch of nonsense usually revolves around the topic of network marketing.

So, first, I want to clear something up right now. If you've ever been concerned about one of those "Pyramid Things!", let me innoculate you from any brainwashed, broke mentality, lame-brain idea you got from some broke person about some crazy idea about one of those "Pyramid Things!" being a bad thing!

The ONLY people I've ever heard put DOWN one of those "Pyramid Things!" is an in-debt, broke employee who not only doesn't know how to make money other than by trading their few hours for a few dollars, but they usually don't know how to hang on to what little they make either.

Don't get me wrong - they're not bad people, they just don't know even the basics about how the rich got that way. Rich people like Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Warren Buffet and many, many others KNOW that network marketing is THE best business model on this planet. In fact, Warren Buffet bought and owns one.

So there, I just wanted to get the air cleared right up front before one more person gets hurt by someone spouting off about something they know little about. I hope I got your attention! I wish someone had gotten mine before I invested 4 years of my time and a few thousand dollars into a college education. That got me a job as an accountant for five years and a degree in a frame hanging on my office wall!

The real question is, are you willing to get the facts, or do you want to rely on what some broke person is just parrotting?

The other sad tales involve how the crooks prey on the uneducated and dash their dreams and take their money as well.

Get the facts, educate yourself, learn to spot the real deals from the phonies. Take your time! If it's a good deal today, it'll be an even better one tomorrow.

If someone wants you to "Hurry Up" or "Act Now!!!" it's probably because there's something they don't want you to know. After all, you might learn the truth about them!

Some organizations have abused what's commonly called the "Tools Business". Education is important, in fact it's vital to success, but some knuckle heads have pounded their people over the head with high pressure sales tactics to get them to purchase more than they needed or whatever.

They may have meant well, but they've created a nightmare for their victims. And it's tarnished the image of the networking industry. You should avoid any group that pressures you into buying tools to educate you about building your business.

When the time is right, you should decide what books and other training you need. A good mentor will guide you and protect you and help you take on what you need, when you need it.

A good guide to go by is this - if you're feeling uncomfortable about investing in your education, voice your concern. And if your mentor doesn't agree, drop them and seek out another one.

If you can't find one that you feel comfortable with, perhaps you should consider leaving that organization. Don't let anyone push you into anything you're not comfortable with!

As you view different sites in your search for the right business opportunity for you, here's a TIP: If they don't provide you with their name and contact information, they're hiding something, and it's usually not good news, is it?

Will you make mistakes? Plan on it. It's a requirement of success. All great men and women have made mistakes. Tons of them.

Sometimes the only way to educate yourself is to make mistakes. I know. I've made my share and then some more to boot.

Mistakes are ok - IF you learn from them, pick yourself back up and move on.

Life is an education and it's easier when you have some mentors who have the fruit on the tree and they have a vested interest in your success. Traditional business doesn't offer that. That's what's so beautiful about network marketing in it's purest form.

It's very exciting and the serendipities go far beyond the money that we make. When you get it right, you will want to join in this boom industry.

It's very rewarding to be a part of a team of people with a vested interest in helping each other. We never found that in any other business model or job - not even close!

Together, we can achieve more.

We invite you to learn more about how we can help each other earn our financial freedom.
